The Blessed City

The Wise King
There was a time in the distant city of Wirani, a king who ruled his subjects with as much power as wisdom. And he feared for his power, and they loved him for his wisdom.
There was also the heart of the city a well of cool, clear water of drinking all inhabitants, even the king and his courtiers, he was the only well in the city. One night when all was quiet, a witch entered the city and poisoned the water and said :"From now on, who drinks this water will go crazy”. The next morning, everyone in the kingdom, except the king and his lord chamberlain, drank from well and went wild as the witch had foretold. And that day, the streets and in the market, people did nothing but whisper: "The king is mad. Our king and his lord chamberlain lost their reason. - The king was wise and mighty, and everyone was happy with that, but then a witch poisones the water and everybody who drank from it, will get mad, then everyone stoped the king from drinking it, but everyone else drank from it. After that, everybody didn't like the way he rules, so they want him out of power. The solution was that he drank from the water and he went mad too. Now, everybody was happy in the mad kingdom.
