Explanation according to Genesis

The creators

According to the myth, Pachacamac, the sun, was a god and it created the stars and the moon (Pachamama). Likewise, the moon created the first creatures. The sun and moon bore a son and a daughter. They taught creatures to be kind and fair.

According to Genesis, God created man, breathing into his nostrils the breath of life. Then God said to Adam to have dominion over all living things. God saw Adam was without a helper suitable and while he was sleeping, God took one of his ribs and close up the flesh. He made the rib into a woman and brought her to Adam.

The beings already existed before the world was created.

There was a first world before this world existed. It was dark and empty. There was nothing, but six beings. These were gods and goddesses. The first beings grew tired of the first world, so they went to the second world, but it was already occupied by the cat people. The first beings and the cat people fought for years. The first beings lived in the third world, happily; but they had to leave the world for Coyote’s fault. Begochiddi created mountains, stars, the sun and moon. This was the world where Navajos would live.

According to Genesis, God created the world in six days. He had all prepared to receive the man. When the man was created, the world was already perfect to live in.

The existence of the Atum and God

Atum created himself using his thoughts and the force of his will. He was neither male nor female. He joined with his shadow to produce a son and a daughter. Shu and Tefnut were responsible for the stability of the world.

Genesis does not say anything about the creation of God, but according to the first verse, God was before the beginning. He isn’t a created being.

The first beings

The first beings, Shu and Tefnut were responsible for take care of the world where they lived.

God gave Adam and Eve the task of multiply and have dominion over all things.

Norse creation

In this myth, beings already existed before the world was created. They killed someone to create the earth with the dead body. Also, the persons were created from two fallen trees.

In Genesis, there were no persons before the world was created. God created Adam and Eve in the six day- where everything was done- and God created them breathing in their nostrils the breath of life.
